How do I find the MAC address?

There are two scenario's: 

a) MAC address for a wired connection with the modem/router
b) MAC address for a wireless connection with the modem/router

 

a) MAC address for a wired connection

If you have a wired connection with the router, you can click on Clone MAC address to automatically copy the address of the wired network card. 

b) MAC address for a wireless connection

Carry out the following steps:  

1. Simultaneously press the Windows key and the R key. 
2. Type cmd in the Run menu and press Enter or OK.  

 

How do I find the MAC address?

3. In the black window that now appears, you can enter the following command: ipconfig /all.

4. Press Enter

5. A list appears showing the details of your network connection.

6. Under the heading Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection, you will find a Physical Address, i.e. the MAC address.

Done! You finished all the steps!
